Parent Memo: April 23, 2021     PRINCIPAL’S CORNER: The following students have earned Shout-Outs this week: Talon Martin (6)- when a classmate’s work blew away on the playground, he chased the paper down for his classmate.  He went and retrieved the work from quite a distance and did not give up until he grabbed it. Parent Memo: April 16, 2021     PRINCIPAL’S CORNER: Ms. College happily gave Shout-Outs to the following PreK students this week because of the way they lined up quietly, using the social distancing requirements and patiently waited until everyone was in place: Kofi Asante, Vivian Stanley, Peyton Evangelista, Melanie Rathbun, and Santiago Romero. This is not only to protect yourselves and your families but also to protect the other children at school. We have been pleased with our safety record thus far this year. There have been NO cases of Covid that have originated from the school or been transmitted through the school. We’d like to keep it that way. The purpose of these forty days leading up to the resurrection of Christ, is to challenge ourselves to give up or devote ourselves to something other than the regular. Parent Memo: March 5, 2021 PRINCIPAL’S CORNER: I am proud to announce this week’s Shout-Outs to: Audrey Orzech and Mia Crosby – both grade 6 – The girls took their own personal time to write little notes to each of their classmates with compliments or words of encouragement about how much the girls cared for them. We are proud of Ainslie’s initiative to be the patient friend her classmate needed.   Charlie Horne – gr 7 – who helped another student who tripped and fell at recess.
